Kansas City Public Library

One of the most unusual architecture at Kansas City, has to be the facade of the parking garage for the Central Branch of the public library. The garage wall was designed to look like a row of giant books lined up on a shelf. The book spines, which measure approximately 25 feet by 9 feet, are made of signboard mylar. The shelf showcases 22 titles reflecting a wide variety of reading interests as suggested by Kansas City readers and then selected by The Kansas City Public Library Board of Trustees.

The garage behind the "books" was constructed in 2006 in response to the need for additional downtown parking. Community input was requested on ways to beautify the new structure and ultimately the idea of a bookshelf evolved.

Community members and patrons were asked to vote on the titles to be displayed and the ones chosen reflect a wide range of famous literature. Titles of the 22 volumes represented include "The Lord of the Rings" by J. R. R. Tolkien and "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury among many others.

“Education to Build a Better Future for All”

Education is really important for us, because education is really needed and recommended for us in the future. Why you need it? Because its used for work and getting a better life. Without education you can’t get a work and you can’t get a better life. The reason why the education needed is to make people smart. You could see the different of modern human and massive human, the different of massive human and modern human is, the massive human have no education so there is the different about their lives.

Without education every people in this world can’t a different between good and bad, they just do what they can just like massive human, with no education we could not make any technologies just like now, with no education we can’t eat well, and maybe with no education we only live at some cave.

Education are needed, maybe learn about education for 1 hours per day are enough for live, but in this modern world we need more education, now in the modern world there is a money to get everything that we want. But to get it you need a work, to get a work you need an education. Just like when you want to be an architect you need to get an education about achitechure.

Education isn’t only just needed to get a work, but education is needed to understand about live. Now in Indonesia, Education is really recommended by a government and its really must for every people in Indonesia. In this country, at Senior High School, student get an education at least  for 8 hours but sometimes they get more education for 2 hours. At Junior High School, student get same education as Senior High school but they have no extra education. At Elementary School, we get only at least 5 hours. And for every school we have 30 minutes break times.

My Holiday

Last 2 weeks on 28 December 2015, I went to Sari Ater near Lembang. On 12 o’clock we started our journey to went there, on the way to Sari Ater we met a lot of traffic jams, So it took us for 4 hour to get there. Our family was disappointed because we were late to get there, but that wasn’t stopping us to enjoy our holiday.

            After storing our goods in the house that we rent. We went to the restaurant near our house, exactly our goal to went there is only for swimming ,because there was a hot tubs over there. its took us for an hour for swimming there. then we went to our house to take a bath and pray there. After that we went to the restaurant again than we ate there for a half hour. Then we take a walk to some places that in the Sari Ater. Its only take for 15 minutes because it was 8 o’clock and its time for got home so I didn’t know about the place to much from what I know it’s a Paintball, Raft, and Swimming Places.  Then we went back to our house and take a rest over there.

            On the morning, we woke up. It was a tiring night for me because I can’t sleep that night, in that night I feel like there was someone that slept with me, its was a nightmare for me. Then at 8 o’clock we prepared our goods than we went to our real house.

Hello all!!! meet me again!!
Today I will tell you about my friends Faryal and Iqbal. they are my best friend. I met them when they was talking about game and anime. when i know they were talking about anime and game i was interested about it and came to them and talk with them. know they are still my best friend although sometimes we always separated.
i will tell you about Iqbal, he's kind person that's really smart but sometimes kinda lazy to do something. and now about Faryal, He is the real gamer. because he always play a game everytime he stay at home.

Amazing Race

Hello guys its me again, Akmal. I will tell you about Amazing Race that i joined two months ago. Amazing Race is an event that made by NK3 ( Nihongo Kurabu 3). NK3 is a Japanese Club. its was ten o'clock time to went to Vanda Park. when i got there i meet so many NK3 members and of course i meet my senpai (senior). but before we start the Amazing Race we need to wait for a while because we need to wait the other members. after the other members gathered. we started the event. first we moved to Town Park then, we went to the Shuuji Division. our senpai(senior) taugh us about shuuji, oh i forgot, Shuuji are activities to writes a Japanese letter by using a brush and ink. after learning about shuuji, we went to Manga Division. Manga division are activities to draw a japanese cartoon. then we moved to Geemu Division. its taugh us about japanese game and sometimes they taugh us about modern game too. And the last Division is Odori. Odori division are activities to learn about japanese dance. then the last we went to resting place, after taking a rest our senpai taugh us about japanese introduction languange.
